ActUP App
This home screen concept was created to showcase one way that for in-app actions based around the 3 pillars could be presented to a user.
These activity cards would be used as part of an in person cultural probe. The goals of each vary but they are all designed for us to gain further insight into the perspective of current high school students in regard to altruistic principles.
Here are results from a survey that most influenced our project
ActUP is a EMI-based educational app concept designed to impact social and human capital on a national scale by focusing on 3 core pillars:
1. Strengthen a user's empathy and critical thinking skills.
2. Educate users on the importance of contributing to the circular economy.
3. Assist users in locating opportunities that can impact relevant issues.
The UI and graphics were designed and created by myself, however the concept and research for this project were completed alongside Em Cote, Tia Tyrrell, and Dong Lui.
